Symptoms Of Parvo In Puppies
What are the typical symptoms of parvo in puppies?
The Parvo virus attacks the digestive system of dogs and puppies causing them not to be able to absorb nutrients. Diarrhea, lethargy and sometimes vomiting are signs that the parvovirus could have been contracted.
Parvo symptoms in puppies often begin with fever, depression and loss of appetite. Vomiting and bloody diarrhea are often the next stages after which more severe conditions like dehydration, shock and even worse can follow.
Parvo in dogs can also attack the dogs heart in some cases even months after recovery from the intestinal form of the canine parvovirus disease.
